Situated on the banks of the Maasplassen in the village of Panheel, FunBeach Panheel is a popular destination for fun and relaxation. With a large beach, clear water and various activities such as swimming, water sports, beach volleyball and football, FunBeach has something for everyone! For those who want to relax, there are comfortable sun loungers and shaded areas to enjoy the surroundings. There are also several restaurants and a beach bar for refreshing drinks and delicious meals. Rederij de Corporaal is the perfect choice for boat trips and events on the Maasplassen. With comfortable boats and an experienced crew, they offer a unique experience on the water. #4. Sailing with a boat, yacht, sailing boat or sloop
Of course, the best way to see the beautiful surroundings of the Maasplassen is from the water. Fortunately, you can use your own boat, yacht, sailing boat or sloop to explore the wonderful area. You can easily launch your boat at the resort's marina, so you can sail directly from your holiday home and dock at the end of the day. If you do not have your own boat, you can rent one from Bootverhuur Boschmolenplas. These boats are easy to handle and you do not need a boat licence.
#5. Diving in the Maasplassen
The Maasplassen is a popular area for divers from all over the world. With an abundance of marine life, including freshwater fish, lobsters and water lilies, you will enjoy a completely different world and fantastic visibility of up to 12 metres. Not a certified diver or prefer to go with a group? Then visit one of the many dive schools in the area for training, equipment hire and guided diving excursions.
